Like wahooskipper's uncle, my uncle was an almost famous musician in Denver, CO. Jack Teagarden used to come to listen to him. He was offered a touring job with Bob Hope but did not want to leave his family. He did manage to make a good living as a musician. A dream that escaped the rest of the family who needed day jobs.
