I am hoping that perhaps the new additions of Star Tours2 and the FLE will be a huge step in the right direction. I am already heartened to hear it sounds like they have improved the bus service.

There might be a little "castle envy" going on with some of this criticism as well.

I mean absolutely no disrespect, but your ideas might be taken more seriously if you put some time into composing your thoughts and proofread what you wrote. I don't personally care if you write like a freshman in a remedial composition course, but you also have to prepared to have people brush off your ideas because they come across as knee-jerk and simplistic.

Oh my God, Spirit was right. This discussion really has become a waste of time if we've returned (again and again) to the point of comparing WDW to professional sporting events and big-city living. (Where's Vbdad to tell us how inexpensive WDW is compared to Chicago?)

Liberty Tree Tavern and Columbia Harbour House are two places that consistently deliver in my opinion.

I'm not sure who this one is directed at, but it's certainly not me. I've been having problems with the direction being taken at WDW since the 1990s. I think my first real hint that things were seriously wrong at Disney was when they replaced World of Motion (a very detailed, old school, animatronic ride) with Test Track (a thrill ride through an empty warehouse).

I thought that I was the only one out of the 6+ billion folk in this world who had committed the cardinal sin concerning WDW: derogate Soarin'.

I don't feel so alone anymore.

AK is a beautiful park but I agree that the mindset should have been to fix what was already there FIRST then move forward to open a new park.

Quality should trump quantity. I would take 1 completely, unbelievably stellar park(can you say Disney Sea) over 4 decent ones any day.

Leobloom, did you actually diss someone for their lack of grammatical skills while you wrote a sentence that said "...but you also have to prepared..."? Dude, if you're going to blast someone for their grammar, you better make DANGED sure that your own house is in order!

Maybe Katie's problem is LP doesn't allow one to edit one's posts. I'm sure if we had an edit feature, her posts wouldn't be a chore to read.

Don't even try to tell me that, there were run on sentences, because there is something called COMMAS.

However, I am not going to rant and rave for months on the issue and beat down anyone who happens to enjoy Duffy. I realize some people are unhappy about the state of the parks, and it's cool to have a place to discuss it, and even cooler that maybe Disney execs are aware the we're aware of needed changes. But there are a few (and I don't even really have any specific people in mind because I tend to tune them out) that go overboard. They do nothing constructive or friendly on these boards and you're left to wonder about the validity of their sanity. Who would come to a Disney forum and bash Disney everyday of their life if there was no interest in the parks or in sparking up friendship on these boards? Strange.
