Just classic. <<If the only way that you can feel better about yourself is by putting other people down, what does that say about you? The LP is a great site because you can have informed, intelligent, adult discussions and disagreements without getting personal attacks (for the most part). They want YOU (ALL OF US) to accept lower and lower quality for higher and higher prices. Who wins and who loses in that equation?<<< <<And hence why I have wasted so much of my time trying to open people's eyes so they vocalise too. But you know what, it is not working, people are content to accept mediocrity.>> Well, as I've said many times both to you in person and in posts here, people in the 21st century (especially Americans) are much more willing to accept mediocrity (or worse) in so many facets of life that seeing theme parks that aren't what they were or should be is just so low down the list of what's troubling in 2010. <<So I am now on a quest to find new interests. After our trip to DLP we are heading to Europa PArk and Phantasialand in Germany, and later in the year, Eftling in the Netherlands. Well sadly it is not true.>> Have a GREAT time! Email coming soon ... None of us here who are critical of WDW would go if we didn't like (or love) the place either. You kinda keep missing this important point. <<No one forces you all to pay for the park to go to something that is falling apart. As you all sound why do you even go back? If you don't get why someone is saying something, then by all means you should ask them why they are saying something or where they are coming from. But attatching opinions to them that are not accurate does you no favors in any discussion. <<Maybe I do have rose colored glasses, and you know what thats fine for me because I wouldn't want any other glasses. No because life is 2 short. You may say we'll I don't concentrate on them either but you do enough to come back from your vacation, and post things about it. Do you know at Walmart yesterday there were only 4 checkers with about a hundred person crowd. Long waits, but since I was enjoying the conversation with the person ahead of me it felt very fast. GOOD THINGS!!!!! You guys seems to want everything perfect, life isn't like that.

He was on your side, and accusing others of re-writing history. (I have no idea, cause I missed the original thread...I only chimed in here because I was bored )

Hong Kong Disneyland sucks, bro. You know it, and I know it, and a billion Chinese know it or else they wouldn't have such incredible attendance problems!

Spirit then commented that I was trying to rewrite history because he (I think) was believing that I was referring to this thread which was a "why so negative" thread. No fight just a correction. KatieKate, you were not involved in that statement at all. Film at 11! Try the Veal!

At a time when Disney seems to be compromising its basic philosophies about its theme parks, the negative posters here and on other boards are trying to encourage Disney to maintain standards. Something that I think it is important to remember is that the negative posters are not asking for extraordinary things. They are just asking Disney to maintain the quality that Disney itself used to hold itself to. Disney was the one who set their own standard, told fans thru publicity what those standards were and encouraged guest feedback. I think that is what makes people frustrated.
