I don't get to go 50 times, so it dosen't seem like a bad place to me in fact I think I have gone maybe 5 times in my 27 years of life. So I am looking forward to my next trip, but I come on here to look for tips and whats great about WDW and all I see is what is not great. Yes there are a few posters who write good things it's what I come on here to read. What's sad is there are times when one poster will write something great and then people have to respond with what is negative. I am not saying you can't voice your opinions or anything like that, I am saying why can't you say great things also? Truely you all have a lot of experience, and if I had never been to WDW if I had just come on this page and read what you guys wrote I might of thought for a second if I really wanted to spend that much money to go.

In the first place if you had a decent edumacation, their wood be no need for anythin to use a spelcheck on to.

And, the worst trip to WDW is better than 95% of the stuff I would be doing if I wasn't there. Here is the deal: When you have an irrational passion for something then few things will sway you. People dress their pets. Those people have an irrational passion about their pets. No matter how stupid it looks and no matter how many people tell them it is silly they are not going to change. People have an irrational passion for Disney. And, whether those folks realize it or not, there are FAR more people who could care less about Disney parks than there are that are fanatical about them. I was a frequented visitor to WDW and then I worked there. By my late 30s I was probably feeling my most cynical about the place. But, then I had children and I started seeing the parks "new" again through thier eyes and my cynicism took a back seat. My kids loved the Winnie the Pooh playground no matter how many people here poo-poo'd it as beneath Disney standards. My kids love seeing Nemo and Dori and the gang at the Living Seas no matter how many people here complain about characters being thrown into attractions. My kids love staying anywhere on property (including All Star) because they don't experience anything like that anywhere else. Sure, I like Wilderness Lodge and the Grand but they don't particularly care so why should that upset me? Family members are typically the most brutally honest when it comes to giving you feedback. Well, I consider Disney fanatics to be like family members. So, when their irrational passions gets the best of them and all they can see is the "gloom and doom"...well...how does that hurt me exactly? It doesn't change my feelings about the place. So, why should I care? Every once in a while I see that one of the boo birds has a good point. And, it makes me stop and think. Hopefully my positive feelings about the place will influence the boo birds once in a while as well. But, if not....so what? I hate to put that fine a point on it but...ultimately...what does it really matter? If you are tired of the negative then ignore it. If you are tired of the positive then ignore it. It really doesn't seem that complicated to me.

That APA does sound awesome, though. Adding it to my list of DL things to do... Whenever I make it out there. Where are they sold? >>>Yippee EE got it. Worth getting up for. Well I was already up.<<< LOL. Thanks. >>>In the first place if you had a decent edumacation, their wood be no need for anythin to use a spelcheck on to.<<<< Srsly! I said that if everyone had the same opinion it would get boring on the boards, and there would be nothing to discuss. With negative and positive thoughts, there's a chance for actual discussion, which is exciting.

People are not always going to agree with you. And honestly, I do say a lot of positive things on these boards in addition to some "negative" ones, I guess. We all do, in fact. There is still a lot of good to say about WDW and we all say it. Read our posts, it's very apparent.

Not that it's only interesting to make negative comments. There's a difference, but at this point I wouldn't expect you to understand that.

I would recommend Deb Wills' AllEars web site. And if you expect others on this board to post the way YOU want them to, you'll be sadly disappointed. This is not a site for only pixie dust addicted fans. We have a good mix of both positive and negative posts. Of course, you only want to see the positive. Telling other posters that they should stop and think before posting because it might upset "other people's experience" is actually rather rude and arrogant. You expect us to respect your wishes for how posters should conduct themselves on these boards. But you never stop and think about how THEY might also want YOU to respect THEIR wishes regarding YOUR behavior on these boards. Tit for tat. You expect a certain experience when participating on LP, but you never think yourself about other posters and their expectations for participating on LP. Seriously... if what other people post here on LP upsets you so much, then you should leave. But coming on here and whining to other posters that they're ruining your anticipation of your next WDW trip because they're too negative is a bit much. Methinks the negative posters upset you because you subconsciously agree with them and don't want to admit it. You know that Disney is ripping you off financially and the experiences aren't as great as they once were, but you keep going back because of your offspring. So you have to justify the horrific expense somehow, and blinding yourself with pixie dust is how you do it. But the negative posts poke through that pixie dust haze and tug at your sensibilities as a responsible parent, who's paying too much for an overrated vacation just because her kid likes seeing the characters in person. Just a strong hunch, because I've seen it many times before.

HMMM never heard anyone tell me that before in fact I am always being told to stop and think about what I say. Otherwise you can say something that you don't want to say and then you honestly can't take it back so no I wasn't being arrogant. I truely do not agree with the negative people b/c a I wasn't there back in the 80s early 90s when everything was good. I only went to WDW with my band while growing up do you think I noticed anything much no. Also I just started going back in 2009 so no I don't see much of a difference to agree with the negative people who want things to go back the way they were. Guess what thats never going to happen life changes/park changes and you have to deal with it. Also encouraging someone to leave b/c they are asking you to respect their wishes is very arrogant so watch what you say. I never once asked anyone to leave all I asked was if they could watch what they post b/f they post it. Oh and skinner one more thing if you don't think its a reasonable price for your expectations why do you keep going back?
