I've seen Paul McCartney four times now since he got back into touring in '89/90 (that year it was Sundevil Stadium in Tempe, AZ... Absolutely AMAZING! Second was at the very beginning of his second world tour, which kicked-off right here in Las Vegas - Sam Boyd Stadium. I miss those HUGE outdoor shows, but his performances at the MGM Grand Garden Arena have been FABulous, too! :)

I've seen Ringo three times - first at the Aladdin Theater, second at Caesars Palace and third at The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel/Casino. He's always a great time!

But for John and George... *Sigh*

I saw them in Vegas in 2001. Wonderful.

I'd also say the Beatles, although without the screaming. The Eagles would be nice too.

I just saw James Taylor last summer. He was the one concert I wanted to go to all my life. Now I just want to go see him again, and again.

It was recorded directly from the studio tapes--"original master recording," which gives it much better than usual sound. It's amazing--sounds like she's right there in the room with you.

Yes, Stevie is the one and only absolute "can't miss" artist for me (in fact, money is rather tight at the moment with being tied up in investments...and if it wasn't Stevie, no matter who else was coming, I would've skipped it right now...but $110 is a small price to pay for the master, I'll just have to eat PB&J for a few weeks lol).

As for the past, I'm really bummed I never got to see Led Zeppelin (I would've been like 6 years old though), even though I don't really have any desire to see the members still performing...just wish I'd seen the group itself. Same for the Beatles, obviously.

Another one, slightly off topic, is Leonard Bernstein.

I had a chance to see him conduct the Boston Symphony Orchestra at Tanglewood back in 1990. I didn't go (busy, not that interested, whatever).

Turns out it was his FINAL concert appearence. :(

And I was lucky enough to have a friend invite me to see Ray Charles, which was awsome. Little did I know that less than a year later he would be gone.

I arranged for a friend to see James Brown in NYC a few years ago, and he recently expressed similar sentiments (and thanks) to me for that experience.

Aretha would be cool. Lisann, if I get a chance to see her show I'll think of you! :) Keep trying (I actually didn't hold much hope for seeing Stevie, after all!).
