I e-mailed her and sure enough, it was a fellow I use to be in a marching band with (for the BC Lions football team). All this from a lady I didn't and still don't recall from high school. BTW, I notice she's made a dozen friends since befriending me so she's really not into being a friend with me. Maybe she wants friends for political purposes?

My own "after so long" FB story is that I found my teenage best friend and we will be meeting up later this weekend. I have not seen her in something like 15 years. Initially, I was nervous, but when we finally spoke on the phone, it felt so easy and comfortable.
