Before, when there was a FF in every leg, teams could only use it once (D/O were able to use both FF's this race), and you had to decide when it was advantageous to use it... there was strategy involved. Now, it comes down to whoever is in the lead will take it.

My reasoning is that if Eric and Danielle are in the final three, then I think they have a good chance of winning, which I do not want to see. I think that if Mirna and Charla are in the final three, that they are more likely to get third. But if they do happen to win, then they truely must deserve it.
