Also, just because they started in Seattle, did it have to be RAINING???

Okay, back on topic...the "surprise" elimination was a twist, but they don't have enough teams to keep doing that. Maybe it was just an attempt to keep teams on their toes, and to add a sense of urgency to the game at ALL times. Of course, the teams always seem to have a sense of urgency - even at the beginning they were racing to their bags like their lives depended on it.

There are times when urgency is called for, but often they're just amping themselves into a panic unnecessarily.

It really turned me off to see Sarah/Peter ask for money to show-off her ability to walk/run.

I can't recall who has actually been eliminated because of it, but it's not always the case. <<I admit to liking the "beauty queens" more than the others for some reason.>> They might have won last night if they hadn't mislaid one of the helmets they needed to ride the horses back to their vehicle. <<It really turned me off to see Sarah/Peter ask for money to show-off her ability to walk/run.>> I know it's gonna rub a lot of people the wrong way, but my sister just thought it was funny. I did too.

They were playing catch-up from the very start. Then they blew what little lead they mustered over over the moms by second-guessing their way to the road block. Navigation seems to be a weakness of the Cho brothers as well, and as much as I'd like for them to do well, I am not sure they're gonna hang in there.

See the world----have a great time--take home some money.>> Look for a TV Show called Pit Pony (also a Movie Version), it was worst back at the turn of the century (not this turn of the century ) So far i'm cheering for the Cho's. I like the idea of unreliable vehicles, adds some drama, and some skill. Teams that are better at coaxing a vehicle, teams with better luck: getting one that works. While some events are boring (ie. interlock bricks) I like how they put in the little trick of the border. These sly little things make tasks just a wee bit harder. Besides there is no "Weavers" nor any Jon's. Although they should ban all Kentuckians (just trying to get a reaction from Tall, get him to watch TAR). Can't wait for the next episode.

They've got a busted ankle and have never traveled in their lives----but they were team #1 on the Amazing Race (for about 5 minutes.) Go Kentucky!

I mentioned that I was puzzled by the lack of media coverage on David and Mary in the state of Kentucky since the race has been on. She said she noticed the same thing but thinks that they are not permitted to speak to the press. I think they probably are allowed to speak to the press but are very limited in what they can say, of course. I can also understand why they might be turning down requests for interviews. I believed this lady when she said she did not know the outcome of the Race. I asked her to tell David and Mary that I was rooting for them!

I like David and Mary for the most part, but I seriously doubt they won. The models have history on their side, but I am rooting for the Cho's and the beauty queens. I was on the edge of my seat last night... it was NOT looking good for Dustin and Kandice, especially at the end when they couldn't read their shredded and soggy(?) clue!
