I appreciate Sarah's spirit for taking on all of the challenges and am happy to hear she saw Peter for what he was. I was also impressed by the Cho brothers last night. I hope they can finish strong. Looking forward to seeing the beauty queens wreck their rental next week.

Also, they had no way of knowing about the rock climb in Vienam; Sarah actually thought it might be a swimming challenge.

Did you hear David say, "For five minutes I felt like somebody important?" And those honorable Cho brothers helping my coal miners..... Their positive vibes got them a police escort thru the city complete with sirens wailing....... Contrast that to Peter driving around in circles lost in the dark. What goes around comes around, friend. David and Mary have already done better than I expected they would. I'd be delighted to see the Cho's win it.

Originally Posted By gadzuux About one more episode. This leg of the race was a gift to them from the cho bros, but they can't count on having that kind of charity befall them twice. I enjoy team kentucky for their entertainment value (mary doesn't want to swim because she's afraid of fish - david doesn't want to swim because he was dropped in a lake when he was a kid - by his "cuuuuzin"). But they don't deserve to make it much further in the race because they don't bring anything to the table - they're not particularly strong, or bright, and have been coasting on the graciousness of the cho's. Much the same can be said about team alabama. They're not athletic or intelligent, and have been selfish and snippy throughout the past few episodes. The scene at the airline counter was completely uncalled for and unnecessary - they're all going to end up on the same plane arriving at the same time. Pick your battles girls, and that wasn't one to pick. The blonde beauty queens have caught some breaks along the way, and they have a good attitude about them. They also seem to be able to handle the physical challenges of the game, whether it's running, swimming, climbing, or just keeping stamina for arduous tasks. But they do get "blonde moments" from time to time. The couple (I forget their names right now) are about to implode. They're making things much harder on themselves by the constant bickering. It's one thing to have a bad break like when the car broke down, but the histrionics that went along with it just compound the problem. The cho's deserve to win this. They're the whole package. They are strong and intelligent, yet gracious and generous. Their apparent strategy of carrying two weaker teams with them to the final three is probably not going to work. Unless there's a 'fast forward' in the next leg, and they can once again hand it to 'team kentucky' on a silver platter, the six pack will be reduced to four. And the 'bama' girls are about as ungrateful as they can possibly be for all of the help that's been given to them. Finally, I liked it better when TAR was on a weeknight. I've missed several episodes this season because I often have other things going on sunday evenings. I hope they move it back to thursdays.

Tyler and James have a shot at it, although their navigational skills have been a weakness. I really like the Irwin and Godwin, but by their own admission, winning TAR is not top priority. I think they will be top three though. Dustin and Kandice are tough competitors. They've made some mistakes, but have done a good job of recovering from them. They are definitely top-three, and I predict they will be the winners of TAR10.

Last night it happened repeatedly. I wish that trend would fade away. It was also a bad 'fast forward' because it wasn't 'fast'. The teams seemed to eat that foul stuff about as quickly as could be expected, and yet still came in second and third. The blondes finally started using their heads with the mattress detour - leave your stuff where it is and figure out where you're going and how to get there, then go back and complete the task. It was important that the blondes and the cho's ended up as a team, leaving team kentucky and the bama girls as the other team. Both strong teams joined together, leaving both of the weaker teams to fend for themselves. And what a spectacle watching the weaker team try and drag eight mattresses bound together through the streets - that was never going to work. As of today, it seems like this race is a toss-up between the cho bros and the blondes. The model guys have a fair chance, but they seem to be a mixed bag - one is bright and motivated, and the other is just along for the ride. The `bama girls' and the bickering couple are toast.
Originally Posted By trekkeruss I'm not 100% convined the bickering couple are toast. They were actually not too bad this leg, and their history of finishes is very consistent. Same with Dustin and Kandice; those two have been very consistent save for one next-to-last finish which was due almost solely on getting the slowest boat when they were in Vietnam (they were at the boats the same time as most of the other teams but did not get to the clue box until after everyone else, putting them last for the Road Block rock climb.) FYI: here are the finishing orders of the six teams for the last eight legs: David and Mary: 10th, 7th, 7th, 5th, 7th (Last but NEL), 1st, 6th (Last but NEL), Philiminated. Dustin and Kandice: 4th, 5th, 4th, 7th, 2nd, 2nd, 1st, 1st Erwin and Godwin: 7th, 8th, 1st, 4th, 4th, 5th, 4th, 4th Lyn and Karlyn: 9th, 9th, 6th, 6th, 5th, 4th, 5th, 5th Rob and Kimberly: 5th, 6th, 3rd, 1st, 3rd, 3rd, 3rd, 3rd Tyler and James: 1st, 2nd, 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 6th, 2nd, 2nd It will be interesting to see if the Cho's still try to maintain an alliance with Bamas. I don't see it benefiting either team at this point.
