I thought Haley was 'darn good' and want to keep her.

I thought Stefano was technically perfect vocally, but it bugs me to watch him overexpress his angst visually. Still, he hits every note spot on, so I think he deserves to stick around.

I don't think it helped Naima to be 'pretend rastafarian' in her dialect and manner during her song - rings false. James is just too weird for me. And Thia is too boring.

I'm not putting Casey in my bottom three this week, but he's on thin ice. He wasn't "fun" this week, and his vocals weren't particularly good. I'm glad he shaved - at least a little bit - it helps.

I'm thinking I'll skip the results show and just read about it on Friday - last week jumped the shark a bit too much for me.

He has a lot going against him anyway since this contest is largely determined by who teens vote for, and Casey is just not the type of person they typically vote for. I still think he is the best musician of the bunch. I also like the haircut. I wish he had gotten it a little shorter and TOTALLY lost the beard, but it certainly is an improvement from before.

As far as Stefano - I'm too annoyed by his facial expressions to hear him singing.

I don't get the Judges praise sometimes. Steven is just too befuddled or nice, not sure which. I thought Haleys performance was entertaining but not the best of the night. Didn't like the buh buh buh part, I wanted to put her in fast forward to get it b b b :)

Top for me were Pia and James. Bottom, Scotty (you all know why) Naima, while I love her she just seems to be more in the performance realm than vocals right now, I didn't hate her performance it just seemed cruise ship or Broadway not Idol.

Ok, so, tonight's show: I'm not really surprised by the results, despite the teaser at the top of the show saying we were going to be shocked by the results. I really was not at all shocked by the bottom 3, nor was I all that surprised at who went home.

    Now... on to next week!

    Go top 9!

Oh, and I forgot how much Fantasia's speaking voice annoys me. EGADS!

Oh, and I did NOT like Jacob's voice on the duet he & Naima did. Did not like, did not like.

I would not be surprised to see an all male final four.

I'm not bitter but it's weird, this year is supposed to be some of the best talent and I think it is but I'm getting less and less interested because I highly doubt I'll buy or be interested in hearing any of who's left music.

I'm not a Celine-big voice/dramatic ballads sytle fan, I'm not a hard-core rocker. Not into country. I like some of those genres artists but it's not my main listening style.

Casey's style when he does more jazz/blues stuff is really about it for me. And I like Stefano but he's tittering on the edge.

Paul and Hayley are nails on the chalkboard for me. I truly detest both of them.

So wow Negative Nelly over here might be over Idol after this season if Casey goes.

After last week's over-the-top ridiculous results show, I skipped this week's altogether. I feel cleaner somehow.

I don't know how much longer this season is going to hold my attention, either.
