Then again I used to cringe when a Glen Campbell song came on. I'm not surprised with the results, Other than the chance of seeing Steven Tyler sing with James or Jennifer strut her stuff or another interesting celebrity moment, meh to next weeks shows. LOVE your posts Inspector LOL at your spot on snarkiness

If Lauren can't sing on tonight's final performances show, producers will bring back last week's eliminated contestant, Haley Reinhart, according to TMZ. <<

It just seemed a very odd thing to post since people on this forum have been very conscientious about not posting anything about the current night until after the show has been shown in California. It just really surprised me that gadzuux would not follow that convention. But given his disdain of country music, I guess it would be predictable that he wouldn’t really care at this point.

The producers are invested in the Final Two. They had the ability to hold off until the last minute, hoping their l'il country pot-o-gold might go on. Haley would have been ready, rehearsed, and waiting in the wings until the final decision. And -- miracle-of-miracles! -- the show's own doctor was able to diagnose Elena's critical condition and dispense enough Vicodan (or whatever) to let her sing. Hallejulah! Publicity stunt. Period. <<It just seemed a very odd thing to post since people on this forum have been very conscientious about not posting anything about the current night until after the show has been shown in California.>> He wasn't posting information about the show as it aired. (THAT's what's verbotten here.) He was posting gossip/"news" about AI hours before the show even aired in his time zone.

But I've been saying Scotty will win since about the 3rd of 4th week, and I'm sticking to it.

The judges were only consulted twice during the show. Both times they gave the props to Lauren. So it seems that they're trying to tilt the advantage to her as much as they can. But I agree - Scotty walks away with the prize tonight, because this show lives and dies by little girls with pink cell phones. And Trippy's right - I really don't care at this point. I'm favoring Lauren slightly more than Scotty, but it doesn't much matter either way. That said, I'm looking forward to the finale tonight, for all the surprises. Remember Kara surprising Bikini Girl? Or the Clay Aiken guy being surprised when Clay joins him for a duet? Watch for the confederate soldier guy doing 'Lion Sleeps Tonight'. I'd bet money he'll be there.
