James, though, I do think is quite talented. Not sure if he'll do was well as Adam Lambert did, but I see him as being in the same vein musically.

Right now for me it's just a constant scream and unappealing.< He certainly has the vocal range and vocal ability. Now let's see if he has the discipline to really perform a song, not just scream through it. Some of Adam Lambert's best performaces last year were when I didn't go high and loud, but just sang the song.

I'm holding to that tradition and posting while fresh in my mind: First off, what was up with the music? They all sounded like they were singing in a tunnel. The music was overbearing and drowning them all out. 1. Clint: He hit some rough notes & some good notes. I think he'll go along ways. He's got the showmanship, he's hip and has the vocals. 2. Jovany: As I expected forgettable. Poor song choice, too bland for me, I agreed with Randy. He has a really nice voice but he's snoozeville. I'm sure all the little girls will like his look and give him votes. 3. Jordan: Trying to overlook his arrogance - that was all wrong. Oy, those high notes. I hope he goes quick. Why did he sign it if he knew it wasn't right. Ugh! He was full of caca. 4. Tim: I really like his voice in all his performances so far but I'm not sure about this. Song choice, song choice, song choice! 5. Brett: Um I could only think Martin Short - Ed Grimley. Alrighty. He's unique I'll give him that. 6. James: I stated I'm not a fan. Best performance so far of the night. He nailed it. Props to James. And he showed me the control I was looking for. 7. Robbie: Most Disney. I could see him starring in Aladdin. Nice voice, a bit boring for me and that half yodel thing was not for me. I think he'll go far and will most likely deserve it but I hope he brings some razz-ma-tazz quickly. 8. Scotty: This dude has a country career right now. He's easy, he's confident and smooth. Not sure he's the next American Idol but it doesn't matter. I think he might be the best country artist they've had since Carrier Underwood. 9. Stefano: HOT! Hit a couple bad notes but overall, to me, he's got the whole package. Looks, voice, confidence. 10. Paul: LOL - he is definitely unique, good song choice. Not sure how he's going to do through the various themes. The moving around on the stage is going to drive me nuts. 11. Jacob: He did not smack his lips?! <rolling eyes> I knew he'd come with Luther. Very smooth. Wow! And again, I got the control I didn't see before that was driving me crazy. 12. Casey: This is one cool cat, loaded with talent. Put him in the Preservation Jazz Hall right now and let him rip it with the boys. Anybody who brings it first night with Screamin' Jay Hawkins gets my vote. LOL Top 4: James, Stefano, Jacob & Casey Going home: Jordan
