Anyone notice how Crystal has been acting? Do you think she is sick still? She sat while they gave her reviews the other night. She seems to not show much emotion. Just wondering . . . (evidently I do not have much of a life to be so invested in these kids who are strangers to me)

I think singing Patsy Cline was what doomed Lily Allen -- 'Fall to Pieces' was terrible. But, the young brunette who ended up in Top 12 will be leaving soon

I thought Katelyn would stay longer. I guess having divorced parents isn't a good enough reason for a contract either. (She was more interesting than many who stayed but SO CHEESY!)

I think Crystal was really ill last night. I also don't think she enjoys the contest part of the show, hates seeing people's dreams crushed. (Or maybe that's just me.) It's possible that this show will not be good for her mentally or physically.

I noticed that after Crystal was told she was safe and had sat down, a few of the people around her leaned in and I swear I saw Tim say "Are you okay"? That makes me think she wasn't feeling well at all.

Two of the people that were among my faves got booted last night. Alex, which didn't surprise me too badly (a little, though)... he clearly needs more seasoning as a performer, but I loved the tone of his voice. I was hoping he'd be this year's Elliot Yamin - great voice, unsure as a performer at first but growing more and more comfortable as the season went on. Alas, he didn't quite get there fast enough.

Lily was the one who surprised me. She's a whole lot more interesting than Katie (or a couple of the others that stayed for that matter).

With those two gone, I think Crystal and Mike are the easy favorites going forward, with Siobhan being the "dark horse" (as Simon called her) due to her unpredictability and impressive set of pipes (she can always hit that glory note when she needs to).

I was also noticing Crystals lack of emotion/enthusiasm. She is either uncomfortable with the other contestants or was ill. She's not a huggy girl that's for sure. She seemed so out of place during the annoying group song that they are forced to do.

Anyhow, I'm hoping Andrew is gone, but I expect that Tim Urban is the most likely to be gone.

Also, I totally dug that Crystal told Simon she'd never thought of herself as the clear winner, but thanked HIM for thinking so. :)

I have to say, Katie did way better than I thought she would. It pains me to say it. LOL

And, as usual, I thought Siobhan was horrid, even worse than before and the judges LOVED it.

I dig Casey. Yes, partially because he sho is pretty but I also like the sound of his voice. He looked like he was having fun last night and there was a couple of times when his voice reminded me of Stevie Ray Vaughan. (Not that he's as good as Vaughan but just a tad reminiscent.) ;-)

Speaking of that sort of non-threatening boy star...have any of you seen that video of the little girl sobbing over her love of Justin Bieber? Scariest thing I have ever seen. (And I still don't know who the heck Justin Bieber is. LOL)
