I think TDLFAN was trying to shame the folks at WDW into giving us a product as good as TDR. He was always quick to mention when WDW got something right. That was why so many people would get into it with Spirit also. Some people would confuse something said about WDW as a put down, rather than a deep concern for the quality of the product being presented. I bet if you asked either one of them, they would want each of the parks at WDW to be the best.

I don't think I've ever heard ANYONE on this board argue that WDW was better then TDL. Very few here have been to TDL and those that have almost always say it is the better park. I don't think that has ever really been questioned. Some people got their "panties in a bunch" because TDLFAN could be a rude, obnoxious jerk. He got himself in a hissy when some folks called him on it, took his toys and left the sandbox. I don't think that is any reason why TDLFAN should not return. Folks here should kind of accept that he can be pretty darned rude and not worry about it. TDLFAN should realize that if he is going to post in a rude manner sooner or later he is going to be called on it. It happens here. It happens everywhere else he posts. I still like TDLFAN, think he was a valued poster here at LP, and wish he would come back. But then what do I know? I've got a frozen brain. ;-)
