So how was CBJ, last time I went it was a little sad.
I really liked the pic of Splash, I hadn't seen that angle on a picture before. Looked really good.

Can we expect to see more? Hope so.

CBJ was fine... only problem was a few eyebrows, here and there. And the crowd ate it up. Very heartening to see.

Splash was taken from the bridge that takes you in front of the splash down island, not the one you can get wet on from the splash cannons... More "east" I'd guess. LOL

Yes, it's a new effect, and one that's a little techy for the Mansion, but it's inconsequential. You go by too fast to really point out any differences in the characters, the effect is a shock. Before you know it's happened, it's done.


If there were numerous effects like this, yes, it'd be an issue, but it's very well suited for the finale and the last gag. Works well with Leota, BTW.

The queue is far more offensive as it actually changes the feel of the Mansion's construction and progression.

The finale fits in well.

It is a good idea, but I can see how you would dislike the implementation. It's VERY quick, you don't even get to study or savor it.

Maybe that's a good thing. Less jarring.


The rational behind the new queue isn't a creative one. It's one that's guest driven, and one designed to keep guests placated and happy in line, which is quicker, now so they go and buy things and eat more. Seriously.


Thanks... Dreadfully hot, but, hey. Expected. Just happy it didn't pour, like last year.

Precisely what I thought. At least the old effect allowed you to grasp what was going on with the hitchhikers. I thought that the way the scene is split up with multiple mirrors made the new effect hard to follow.

Also don't understand why Mansion, which was already probably the best-kept ride at MK, was given these additional upgrades.

I don't think that they need to be ADD enabling.... but they certainly could be less intrusive on the existing storyline.


MansionQueue would be much easier to deal with if it fit the mood.

I agree. But I also think that if it was drawn out it wouldn't look as good.


And... Because it's Phily's baby and they want people to be happy in the lines so that they are happy in the stores and restaurants....


Yeah, it makes PERFECT sense to me, too.
