If you look out the front doors of the hotel you are looking directly at the back of Tower of Terror if that helps those of you that are trying to figure out where its located!
I would definitely stay there again - I'm one of those people that just needs a place to sleep & really nothing more than that. The only complaint I had is it did rain really good one of the days we were there and we ended up with a small pond sized puddle in front of the door that we would have to jump to get into our room! Not sure what could have been done about it other than to fix the pavement so it doesn't slope towards the doors, but it wasn't enough of a bother to make us complain or anything! :)

Could use new furniture and paint. We had a king room and looked directly at the Tower of Terror. I have booked again for next summer at the same rate through Travelhero. My concern now is that we booked at the Desert Inn for October for a couple nights. I am hearing very negative things. Hope it's OK.

So hopefully you will not have any problems! Enjoy your trip...We can't wait until June to go again!!

Whatever your son comes up with, use peanut butter inside the trap. It is strong smelling and sure to attract! It has always worked for us.

We paid $135.70 total each night for two adjoining rooms with two double beds each. For that price, the place could have been a lot worse. The rooms themselves had a certain dumpiness to them, but they were clean and large, especially large were the dressing areas and bathrooms. The grounds are nicely green and the complex had many amenities. I actually enjoyed the pool area a lot--much more than any cheap motel I've ever stayed at. Sure, it was no DLH (not even close), but given the price, I was very satisfied. I would have preferred to be directly across Harbor from the DLR pedestrian entrance, but this was the next closest: directly across from the driveway entrance on Harbor.

The only thing, I'm wondering if my kids are spoiled because they were quite dissatisfied. It's a problem: you want your kids to enjoy good things, but you don't want them to have trouble accepting anything less. I still want to stay at one of the Disney hotels when we can afford it, but I hope they can learn somehow to put things in better perspective.

I'm only 2 weeks away from my time in the park and I'm really feeling good about my choice to pick this motel. My friends are all expecting a place to just crash for the night .. if that!! LOL So long as the place is reasonably clean, and close to the park, the place sounds like it will be fine. :)

That's very interesting (aarrgh!) No, really, it is. We've always stayed at the BWPPI, but I've had a hankering for the DLH. I worry that once we've done the DLH, the kids won't be wiling to go back to the BWPPI. Sounds like maybe we should save the $$$. :) Thanks for your report!

I'm jealous of the $50 rate...I'm paying $70. It was $50 last month, and I didn't book b/c I was waiting to get the Hojo's ent. rate. It usually comes down closer to the time I'm leaving, so I call back and check periodically. It didn't work out that way this time, they sold out! By that time, all of the other hotels' rates had gone up!

If they honor our request, we will be back Jan. 3rd. Otherwise i will look at other places but they won't be the "bargain" prices that I am enjoying.......
