The Poly is "Pre-Explorer" times. It's not built in the era that these lands were being explored and as the west is adventuring through these areas. It's built as a tribal village, a untouched paradise, not as a setting for a explorer's camp.

That's like saying MSUSA is terribly themed because Cinderella Castle is at the end of it. It's not part of the THAT story. The AC, as you seem to desire, would be injected into the story of the Poly, which wouldn't work. It's like a certain fish fitting in a land of the realistic future. ;-) >>>I'm with EE.
