I did it for the first time in February, and the park is stunningly beautiful at night. We loved it and will definitely return again. I'm thrilled to hear they're developing a nighttime parade for the park.

Hopefully this won't be another crowd control problem, as that has been an issue I've had with a few of Steve's projects.

The 40th and 50th Anniversary of WDW can't be thrown out. Though I seriously doubt that WDW would forget to do their own 50th Annivesary.

Wishes' soundtrack for some reason really gets on my nerves with all those singing moppets. But the show is still fantastic. Easily one of the best WDW pyro shows of all-time. And Steve has done so many wonderful things ... from Eureka (which disappeared way too quickly) to the Small World and Mansion Holiday redos, to many pyro shows from the groundbreaking Believe to the amazing Remember at DL. ... And a whole lot of other stuff. Even DCA's Luminaria, which he threw together at last minute for TDA and was panned by many, was a very good concept it just was a disaster in the execution due to the location. <<Hopefully this won't be another crowd control problem, as that has been an issue I've had with a few of Steve's projects.>> I don't blame Steve for the crowd control issues. Those go straight to parks ops. They need to do a better job of organizing crowds and cast ... and they don't. You can't blame the creator because folks love his work and want to experience it!

I didn't get to experience the 30th, but the 35th was just amazing. How you can say those aren't significant milestones is beyond me. And Epcot's 25th? That park set a whole new level of excellence in scope and design for Disney parks. To not acknowledge the silver anniversary because it's easier and cheaper to have some ill-conceived Year of a MIllion Free Fastpasses marketing campaign is a prime reason why Jay must go. <<The 40th and 50th Anniversary of WDW can't be thrown out. >> What makes the 40th more significant than the 30th or 35th? <<Though I seriously doubt that WDW would forget to do their own 50th Annivesary.>> Let's just hope the MK hasn't rotted away by the time the 50th (or even 40th) rolls around.

Run a float that looks like a river boat down the middle of Main Street lined up well with the moving shore images, and you'd have a cool river effect, the length of Main Street. No physical infrastructure needed other than the float itself. All else accomplished by lighting. Couldn't be done in the day.

If they don't use something to justify the use of river in the title, I stay with the misleading statement.
