So who knows, maybe the statement you produced was prompted from the side of the spectrum that right now has its priorities more in order? :)

I never called for her death. "Choking on your own bile" is a common expression that in effect means "being harmed by your own anger".

    I'm OK with that.

In both cases, while they were for different things, they at least were trying to do better by the country, in their own way, in that one group thought that by doing right by business, the country would be in better shape. Calvin Coolidge, I believe, was the Republican President who said "The business of this country is business."

The other party thought by helping the people more directly, the country would be in better shape.

That was the basic philosophical difference between the two. And in some years, one ideaology was better and in some years the other would be.

    It's a bit different now.

That took all of three seconds to locate.

Because the basic principle Ann Coulter spoke out on is not extremist. She represents the people like me who are sick and tired of the media puffery given to Bush-haters like the aforementioned 9/11 widows, or Cindy Sheehan, or John Murtha and who get away with it because they close off all forms of debate on what they say by holding up their victimhood status or their past military service as something that makes anything they say something that should be accorded with the same kind of treatment Holy Writ should be given. On that principle, I'm in firm agreement with what Ann talks about and proud to support those sentiments because to me it's appalling that I have to see Cindy Sheehan made the symbol of every parent who lost a child in Iraq or when those 9/11 widows are made the symbol of everyone who lost a family member in the WTC. Hell, *I* nearly lost a family member in the WTC and Tood Beamer was a college classmate of mine, but that doesn't mean my views of the War on Terror are exempted from criticism (which is why I welcome any kind of give and take on the subject in an open forum like this). If Ann's an "extremist" for just pointing out a blunt truth, then God help the so-called "mainstream".

You do realize she is part of the media, don't you?

As Mark Levin said after he got word that she still hadn't said anything at 6 PM, "Priorities, Hilary, Priorities." :)
