So DLR Entertainment have produced shows like Drawn to the Magic and the Pirates Lair product whilst WDI-CE were responsible for Walt Disney's Parade of Dreams, Pixar Play Parade and Remember...Dreams Come True. WDW Entertainment would produce all atmosphere shows and seasonal product (i.e. Halloween and Christmas). In addition WDI-CE are supposed to work on all high-profile projects which is a little vague. Take HSM - when the first show made its debut at WDW it wasn't well-received internally. So WDI-CE worked with the local team to improve the show and then roll it out to DLR, DLRP and HKDL.

Originally Posted By leemac <<Are you saying MK's parade was the responsibility of the same people who did Parade of Dreams?>> No. Don't forget that the 100 Years of Magic parades premiered in '01 so WDI-CE was still in its nascent form. Share A Dream Come True Parade was directed by a local consultant called Chase Senge. Thankfully the parade at least had Gavin Greenaway's beautiful Fantasy theme song. Disney Stars and Motorcars Parade was directed by a west coast consultant called Sherilyn Draper (who typically works on Feld's Disney Live! shows). Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade was conceived, written and directed by a fantastic cast member down in Florida called Reed Jones (I'm a big fan of his work - his big breakout show for WDW was repurposing the DL Lion King Celebration floats into Festival of the Lion King for DAK). He works closely with Dan Stamper (a composer and music producer) to great effect.

I guess I was expecting more, and it just wasn't there in Snow.

When was the last time WDW got a major parade that was created from scratch? That Magic Kingdom parade seems to use and reuse floats that are going on 15 years old. Surely WDW could come up with their own, unique parades instead of just taking Disneyland's old leftovers.

It was Festival of the Lion King that re-purposed several of the floats into the show (the Festival of the Lion King was a relatively late addition to the attraction roster at DAK).
