He's one of the most fun Disney fan bloggers ever and the fact his word carries all across the other websites litterally minutes after he posts one is testament to that. So he doesn't get everything, right, so WHAT???? He's talking about a theme park, not CNN reporting on Afghanistan. Who cares? Its just fun to talk about and speculate on and isn't that what we ALL do anyway? He just has sources to back up some of his claims more. Also, I like reading his stuff for not only for the future stuff that is coming up, but what happens behind the scenes as well and the park operates in general. That's just as big a part of his articles as what new twist DCA is taking. Anyway, I never understood the big hard on for the guy, he has a website and likes to talk about Disney's past, present and future. If people REALLY hate the guy, they certainly love to read him just to say how wrong he really is I guess and I don't even know why they bother?

I sent you some pictures of a princess, iirc...did you get them?

Originally Posted By Mr X **So he doesn't get everything, right, so WHAT???? There is no more "news", it's simply "infotainment". (and yes, newspapers too...they're all full of crap)
Originally Posted By WorldDisney ^^Well, I wouldn't go THAT far lol, but yeah you're right, what Lutz is simply reporting 'infotainment'. I would say he's closer to the Entertainment shows like 'Access Hollywood', 'E' and all the others, but just about Disney instead of Hollywood. A lot of it is right, a lot of is wrong, but its still fun to listen to regardless because at the end of the day NOBODY really cares if Lindsay Lohan is still in or out of rehab just like nobody REALLY cares if the next Disney rollercoaster will be themed to Ratatouille or not....just us Disney dorks and I doubt any of us lose sleep one way or the other. And Mr. X, email resent
Originally Posted By Mr X **I wouldn't go THAT far lol, but yeah you're right, what Lutz is simply reporting 'infotainment'** You misunderstood me. I'm saying that ABC news and CNBC and the Wall Street Journal and the L.A. Times are "infotainment". And they sure are. Journalism is a joke in America these days.
Originally Posted By WorldDisney ^^No, I understood, but I yeah, I kind of combined your point with my point lol. Yeah, true, news and newspaper focuses waaaay too much on the wrong things these days and the way its presented, but there is still a lot of good journalism there...just gotta look harder . CNN has a great documentary series called, 'World's Untold Stories' and just had a show on about a small island in the South Pacific that is litterally getting washed away by the effects of global warming. Really interesting piece. But for every one of those pieces, we get the latest on Paris Hilton and tabloid like coverage of Bush and the canidates sometimes. LOL, as I type this CNN headline news first run news is rapper T.I. getting arrested over hand gun charge. Screw it, you're right ;D.

I for one enjoy hearing about things that Disney is throwing around. Whether they all pan out or not is irrelevant in my book. It's about understanding some of the thinking going on behind the magic. Even wizards have to experiment with potions and such to get the right magic.

I'm sure a lot of what they announce this week will be Pixar/cartoon based attractions. Don't go on 'em if that offends you so badly. I for one will be thrilled if they turn out to meet the criteria I've outlined above. But rest assured, I am sure there will be lots of other non-cartoony stuff too.

That's what makes it fun and I said that in my previous post, the behind-the-scenes stuff, what makes the mouse tick. Its all good stuff to read. With that said though, I can understand how people don't like that stuff or think he's too biased, but for the love of god people, the man isn't Anderson Cooper, he's just a Disney geek like the rest of us, just with a website, why all the vile? If he's really that 'wrong' or 'bias' don't click, simple. There are maaaany other websites to get your Disney info from obviously but I think some people just have some grudge against him (obviously ). And that's okay, but don't make the rest of us feel we supporting Hitler just because we like to read a fellow Disney Geek who happens to hate DCA lol. Hate DCA---what a new concept .
