Eddie has been spending time on the road lately. I tried to draw his opinion out on the Fantsyland project, but he had very little to say. Understandable too, since nothing is really written in stone about it. Opinions are very similar at Magic to those over here. There has got to be a couple of thousand post on the subject over there. I think the consensus on Marvel is they only belong at the Studios. A point I agree on. >> Like why is it that DLP can have incredibly beautiful flowers in bloom all over the place IN FALL, while wood chips count as landscaping at WDW? << Please don't get me started ranting again! >> Or why double-wide strollers and ECVs are non-existent in Paris and few and far between in Anaheim? << Because the French hate children, and Californians only believe you should allow wheels on expensive motorized vehicles. You can't drive an ECV while sipping wine or smoking dope. >> Or ... well, we can talk about it later, I want to watch the funny dude from Scotland. << Surly you're not talking about Gordon. Did you know that watching portions of the G20 summit can make you impotent?

I'm not so sure about the hotels though. The cheapest hotel package there (for the Santa Fe) is $354 per person (based on two people) for two nights and three days. That would mean a total of $708 which includes two 3 day park hoppers worth $412; leaving a per night hotel cost of $148. The reviews I read at a couple of sites would indicate the Santa Fe is comparable to the WDW value resorts; so I think the pricing of DLP hotels appears higher... especially when WDW is giving 5 nights for the cost of three or throwing in the Dining Package for free.

What you did miss, however, and being me, ***I*** would point it out, is that Innoventions is getting it's make over. New flooring, new railings, with a lovely SSE Logo, and some of the tarps and clutter have met there demise. Head over to Magic when you have the stomach for it. ;-) ====== Has he been back posting on that MAGICAL site? Several of our favorite friends were water logged over the subject. Now the talk is about FL and it's "lack" of what they wanted. So...like I said, the same. Heheh. Great to see you back, of course....Can't wait to talk.

A Holiday Inn Express or Travel Lodge in Europe runs $130 a night.

Q2 - what is "the market rate issue"? and the request - will you PLEASE stop using "in the main"???? Dude, you're from California for pete's sake! Can't you say "for the most part" or "in general", or "basically", or "pretty much", or "mostly", or SOMETHING ELSE!!?? You sound so damned British, it's sickening!

You obviously love the Disney theme parks, too. It's just that you haven't experienced or witnessed some of the same negative points that the Spirit has. Don't be so hard on him, dear. The two of you could actually become friends, if you give him a chance. He's really not a bad person.

The DLH is a boutique Grand Floridian with 500 rooms, but it litterly sits over the turnstyles of the park, which is pretty special.
