I could even see Universal Orlando as well as DAK passing the Studios up in attendance.

It's been rumored and I've heard rumblings for a while...Last I heard, was for the 40th...But we all know how that's going. Maybe it'll be the headliner for next years' D23? Could only make that better! Funnel them to EPCOT? I could see it. Still, it's a shame. And, if they are boosting EPCOT's numbers while tearing down MGM's, that could help for the "refurb" too. Oh wait, I meant PREfrub. Heh.

Disney saves millions of dollars by closing TPFKaTD-MGMS at 7 ... and by cutting Fantasmic performances drastically. Of course, what that does is have huge negative affect on guest spending in merchandise and F&B and it will reflect in annual attendence (although some Spirits would suggest Disney plays with numbers anyway). I wonder how many visitors, who aren't Disney nuts, just are opting to drop the park from their visits in favor of more time at other Disney parks or visits to UNI or SW instead.)))))))) Woah, Spirit....You think that they ARE looking at a DCA esque plan for MGM? Heck, they HAVE the name change...They might even not have to do as much theming wise...(aka take down the BAH!)

Tearing the meaning (by tearing out the Omnis and music!!) is by far worse. To me, MGM has lost a ton of the land and inteliectual capacity it once had. Now, it's just Generic Disney Central.

Studios is looking at Star Tous 2.0 (and the eventual removal of the hat). Not much else. Although I have heard that management isn't happy with LMA. That may be the next thing that sees cuts ...

It isn't BOLD like it once was. It's a simpler place. Hence, the whole label of 'Disney's Discovery Park'. It aims lower than it did. Studios may be a mess, but it had issues from the start.
