Oh well, back to the Carnival Fun ships for me. :p

But seriously, now that Little X is 6 going on 7, I'm really interested in possibly doing a Disney cruise one of these days...anyone who'd been on there with kids have any advice?

I noticed from the website that they have programs for 3-7 year olds, and then separate ones for 8-10 (I assume they're more fun and no babies around). So I'm shooting for a couple of years from now I think.

    Thoughts?

I like Casino's too, but i think it's a good thing not being trapped on a long cruise with a 24hr casino.

I have a three year old son too, and for some reason I can't imagine leaving either of them with a group on a cruise, but I don't know maybe I'll have to get over that.

Tasha, I have my eye on a cruise that does leave out of Vancouver next September, lol.

Thanks for all of the info guys, it's awesome!

Spirit, they have a 5 night cruise from Vancouver with stops at Victoria, Canada and Ensenada, Mexico for starting around $2000. It drops you off in Los Angeles, so we'd only have to fly home from there, so the airfare wouldn't be bad. I think that's a pretty good rate.

On the vacations to go website, It lists the price as $539 for 2 people. Once they added the two kids to the price it was up to $2033!

The Disney 3- and 4-night Bahamas cruises that leave from Port Canaveral make a port call at Nassau - you could spend your entire day in port at the Atlantis casino.

We did and we won a combined $500. I cannot suggest this loud enough. Even if we didn't win, Atlantis was amazing. We took the $60 tour that included The Dig, and a tour of the inside area of Atlantis. Then, we were allowed to explore on our own.

The grounds there are amazing and I can't understand the people who preferred to stay on the ship.

Castaway Cay was just as awesome. We loved that they had an adult section. Hey Drinky Man!
