Shiva, I have never been able to hide my feelings. If I am happy about something everyone around knows it. On the same note, if I am upset about something, that too is quite obvious.

8ilovemickey8, the no brainer remark in post 38 is the policy that me and my family live by. To bad that more of the people in this world don't feel the same way. Things like what happened to u k fan at the ATM would not be a problem.

At least this way, I know they guy got his wallet back and in tact.

At least you know YOU are not going to take anything in it and you will try your best to get it to the correct person. The person who originally found the wallet may or may not have been so honest. At least you know the correct person got their belongings. I say good going! : )

    Without question.

And thanks to those who have helped get things back to their rightful owners. I sure wish there were more of you in the world.

When I got home, I started searching for my day planner to balance my checkbook. I frantically searched in the diaper bag and all the Walmart bags. NOTHING. I called walmart and nothing. I'm guessing I left it in the cart, and it only took me about 5 minutes to get home. It was gone. I had to cancel all my cards and wait for 2 hours at the DMV to replace my driver's license.

There was no cash in it, why would someone want to keep it?

I was glad I only lost cash and all that other stuff was in a separate place. I got a new coin purse with a chain so I can hook it inside my purse.

    *hops on soap box*

Please don't think me harsh but please tell me you two are kidding. A day planner with cards and driver's license in it is a GOLD mine to an Identity thief.

I just saw this story when I logged on. It's about a lady returning a bag with $65,000 in it.
