The plus side is that I get free entry as my brother works for the company at their head office!!!

I don't have a netflix account, but I hope to have one by the end of March.

Do the Brit and Ausie LPer's have the TCM Chanel? I intend to subscribe to their magazine, so maybe I could shout out a heads up when something we are all interested in comes up.

    Jazzy, you've never seen Casablanca??!!

Would this be a thread in "General Entertainment" or "Community"?

I'd suggest a new thread for each film. Then people could easily view everyone's comments by film.

"LP MOVIE CLUB: Citizen Kane" could be the way the threads were titled.

I would think Community, our Book Club threads have allowed to stay in here.

I think that is a great idea.

I figure we'll start in March would anyone like to start us off? Unless you guys want me to do it. The only thing is the last part of my month I'm going to be gone for awhile. It's been decided that we'll do two movies a month. One older film and something a little more contemporary.

Obviously you can sit a movie out if you don't like the choice, but does anyone have an objection to R rated films?

But, as some have mentioned, to keep costs down, maybe the more current flick should be rentable? Something like Troy or Last of the Mohicans - or even American Gangster?
