I've watched the squirrel, who seems to have adopted us, hang from his tip toes to pry the top of the feeder off and then scoop out as many seeds onto the ground as possible where he will then go down and retrieve them. I've come to the conclusion after seeing this series of problem solving skills that it is not the rock throwing apes that will be taking over the world, but that highly intelegent squirrels will eventually be our overlords.
