The camera "flew" around the wall of concept art and "dove" into random pieces. It was very clever. At the end of the presentation, there is a display at the back of the room with models in a line ( row after row) that spun like on a turntable. Each figure was another cell or animation. When it spun, you would get a sense that you could see the motion. Not until a strobe light goes on, can you see the motion. It is VERY cool. I hope this finds a permaniate home in the Disney MGM studios or elsewhere. Also - I was amazed at the amount of concept art (hand drawn) on display. I looked at that and at all the models. It occured to me that this is HARDER than traditional animation. (or so it seems to the uneducated animator lol) Other neat stuff - a wall mural with all the fish from NEMO and a wire frame-to-render film that loops against one wall. Have fun and while you are in New York, I strongly suggest you head to Fulton St at the South St Seaport ( http://www.southstseaport.org/ )and see the Bodies Exhibit http://www.bodiestheexhibition .com/ Plan about three hours from when you get in line (40 min - don't let it sway you) to the exit. Have fun !!!!

They're on the second floor.

BTW I've discovered a new favourite though in Tyson's Corner in DC called RuehlNo.925 (it is also from A&F but is targeted at the post-college crowd). Awesome clothes. Pixar exhibit was fun but the layout was terrible but it really didn't tell you much about Pixar itself. If you have the Chronicle Books "Making Of" series you will probably have all of the artwork. I loved the zoetrope though and Artscape installation. I'll probably write up a review at some point.
