Perhaps there are certain taboo topics that make you uncomfortable; one person, for example, might have no problem marching around in their birthday suit in broad daylight, but would rather die than tell a dirty joke. Everyone has different inhibitions as a result of their backgrounds and personal experiences, and you're no exception.
