    Oh no you don't. :)

This whole thing happened because the bunny had the word EASTER as part of the name.

The name EASTER can be viewed as Christian, which as we can all see is under attack from the left because Christians are in the way of gay marriage and a total secualar anything goes society that France has.

If we do some research, you will find the person who decided to go all PC and ban the word Easter voted for Kerry. I am willing to bet $1thousand on this right here right now without even looking.

Only libs are worried about offending people with things that are religious.. even if the country is 80% Christian.

It's one thing to make stuff up, but there's something a little odd about making stuff up and then getting angry about it, Beau.

That's different than banning the word Easter, though. It's just changing the term they are using to market something.

It was two things in one.. always.

Then you don't see it, I'm afraid.

I found it interesting that you managed to say what Christmas means to you without actually mentioning Jesus.

Now who likes to ban Nativity scenes from the public square because they are soooo offensive??

    Liberals again.

    See the pattern. America does.

One would think you'd be happy to remove the crassness from your holiest of days.

It's actually pretty easy if you celebrate Advent. It's pretty common to only put Jesus in the manger on Christmas Eve. But you seemed to focus on the symbols without focusing on the substance.

The motivation behind changing the name to Spring Bunny ( that is sooo stupid ), was to get rid of the word Easter, which is a word that the few hyper sensitive non Christians might find offensive.

This has nothing to do with the bunny having a connection to Easter or Jesus rolling back the stone and coming back to life.

It was a typo. Your buddies however try and BAN the nativity scene BECAUSE it has Jesus in it.

    What's worse?

I think it's fine to nod at the pagan roots of the celebration as a way of honoring our pre-Christian ancestors. I just hate to see religious symbols used to sell trivialities.

Sounds like you're just as hyper sensitive. If the end result is that there is less commercialism and paganism associated with the holiday, why does it matter, especially to an upbeat, look-for-the-positive-Republican like yourself?
