Tink62...you have some fascinating stories! Edna sure knows how to pick friends. :) I enjoyed meeting both of your lovely daughters; thanks for sharing them.

gaydsnywitch, it was an honor and privilege to meet you today! I'm looking forward to many more AZ meets in the future (with YOU...gainfully employed...in Greenland!!!!)

Pollyana & Rick...what a sight for sore Billy eyes. It was just wonderful to see you both again. Can't wait until you get to go in October and meet Shiva & Tinkeroon. You'll immediately be in love.

    Thanks again....what a pleasure! xoxo

Thanks to gaydsnywitch for getting the ball rolling on this. Now, we just need to have better timing for mmaus1962 to make it up from Tucson.

I know there are more AZ people out there ... really - we had a nice time. Checked out the Disney Store at San Tan Village and then off to Dairy Queen for a tasty treat. Gaydsnywitch, Edna-E-Mode, myself and our kids headed out to check out the place.

We can attest to the new Bath and Body Works hand soap DOES feel like vaseline and that Bamboo room spray does NOT make a good body spray. Lets just leave it at that.

We tried every computer at the Apple store and then had lunch (yes, after ice cream) in the food court which reminded us of an airplane hanger. Test Pilots Grill perhaps???

Next trip we are going to attempt the free Trolleys that ride in the Old Town portion of Scottsdale. We'll review the schedule and route to pick some exciting stops. Would afternoons or early evenings work for anyone?? You can always drop me an email (it's in my profile).

Keep an eye out for an AZ meet announcement. I'm sure by then I'll have a few more exciting stories to tell STIL.

Hint: when you post and you get the white screen, just arrow back. And then go to "Combined". Once you come back to the thread you posted on, you'll see your comment there.

    (Weird, huh?)

If you were thinking of doing this to accommodate Tucson, AZ LPers, I think I'd prefer a Arizona Mills meet. Of course, that's just me. ;)

I'll go anywhere in the PHX area as long as it's a day I can go! :)

S.Springs is older, but getting refurbished. It has a new "Pink" store (Victoria's Secret) and a new Hollister store (or whatever the store is that shows Santa Monica's beach live *sigh*) and other big anchor stores.

Problem is...if you go to S Springs it's almost in Apache Junction! :) But, the new south 202 (San Tan) is the route you'd definitely want to take.

Seems like it will be trolley time next. Hope we can do it!

Also: another fun meet would be the zoo at Christmas time. :)
