Things they've done that would make you wonder what they were thinking. But, If I lived my life that way it would be miserable, and I doubt there would anywhere left to shop or do once everything else was weeded out. The article also mentioned Best Buy donated to the same organization as Target. I'm sure there are lots of businesses doing the same thing.

Yeah and they're blowing this way out of proportion. Target offers same-sex-partner health benefits and even sponsors some Gay Pride events. They are not deserving of a boycott. As a member of the gay community myself, I feel like our concerns would be more relevant if we'd stop losing our minds over stupid little things like this. It makes us look like a bunch of whiners and it's counterproductive. If we fight every battle we'll lose.

I remember looking at Real Estate and stuff there in 2007 or 2008 and thinking it wouldn't be a bad place to live, if it came to that someday. Of course, I'm not sure if most of the people there are Texans fans or Cowboys fans. I'm guessing Cowboys, since they've been around longer... It'd be hard to live there with that going on.

All these people moved ALL over the country and still kept their pride in the hard working, blue collar city they left behind. That's the American History from a Football perspective for the day. =) There's actually a really cool video about Steeler Nation about about the City that someone sent me the link to, but it would be probably boring to anyone else. Anyway, I imagine there really are Steelers fans in Austin, but there's probably more Dallas fans, which is wrong.
