Our two year old won't go to sleep. He's lying in his bed playing with his pillows. He let me visit with him a little while, but then when I looked like I was going to lie down on the floor - too nappish a behavior - he yelled at me "Go away". I did then he closed his door. He doesn't usually close his door.

Should I give him his space? Should I try falling asleep strategies - back patting, singing?

Also, our eight year old doesn't like sausage. Should I serve him ham or turkey whenever the rest of us have sausage, should I serve him less sausage, or should I go old school on him, if you know what I mean?

And, my partner, who is sick and working from home, just sat on his glasses. What are the long term effects of wearing slightly bent glasses?

Oh, and our 93 Ford Escort wagon has a problem where it gets stuck in a gear and won't come out of gear. It's a manual. You have to sometimes turn off the engine or it would just keep going. It's our third car, as we bought a minivan in the fall, so we are looking to give it to one of those charities that takes cars. But it's a royal pain because of this clutch thing. So my questions are: how do we fix the clutch? Failing that, do you know of a charity that takes cars that you're mad at and want to saddle with this piece of junk?

Also, we have an appointment at 3:30 and another at 5:30 in the same neighborhood. We've been told there's a Subway near there. But I don't know where it is. Where is it? And should I let them put on oil and vinegar or will that make the sandwich too soggy (we're eating at a park)?

    Thanks so much.

Seems he was using some Clairol-type mens hair color stuff and was kind of in a hurry and got little flecks of the brown dye all over his almond-colored formica counter. How can he get that stuff off?

Thanks! Just wanted to also say... You two are great! And I'm really glad I'm not Miss Candice or some of the other whack jobs who've written in to you!

Still hoping to find out where that Subway is.

Does your kid's face look like Bob Hoskins? I'd call a priest and before an exorcism if he's already yelling "Get Out."

    --------------------------------------

Are they bent to the right or left? Either one is not a good option in this day and age, get them back to a more central position.

If you own a '93 Ford Escort you deserve a bad clutch.

Now, as far as charities - email carsuckers.com they'll take it off your hands.

SuzieQ butted in and gave you the Subway tip. As for the oil and vinegar, put that on your clutch and keep going.

First of all we must try to determine why you procrastinate so much. Do you procrastinate out of frustration? Stress? As a means of escape? Do you find that there is a pattern to your procrastination? Are you more likely to procrastinate at certain times? Please give me more information so that I can help you. And don't hesitate to go into as much detail as necessary.
