    We use this website a lot in our engineering work:

    Usually I use it for chemical compound abreviations, but sometimes it comes in handy for stuff like SAHM.

    Be forwarned, you only get a limited number of inquiries per day, so don't go crazy like I did when I first found the site. I've tested it out on "POTC" and a few other common LP abreviations and it seems to work well.
