Disney has some amazing veggie dishes that I will easily pick over a great beef dish. Some are the same faves that Doobie has: <<Jiko at Animal Kingdom Lodge: Grains, Peas and and Veggies. Exactly what is sounds like with great spices. A huge, wonderful dish and a nice change from pasta (the normal veggie choice). The flat bread appetizers here are great also.>> This is one of my favorite dishes at WDW. Period. I am getting hungry thinking about it now. It's just terrific and a huge portion, with some tofu as well. Unfortunately, in the past five years it's gone from $14 to $24 for the exact same dish. <<Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club: The veggie burger is good and you get ice cream afterwards>> I have only had veggie burgers twice here, but they both were very good. They actually have an even better one at the Dolphin Fountain and better ice cream too! <<Boma buffet at Animal Kingdom Lodge: My favorite of all the buffets. Lots of choices for dinner. There used to be more choices for breakfast but they've made some changes so I don't recommend it as much for that anymore.>> They have a lot of wonderful items, but you think enough for a meal for a non-meat, non-fish eater? <<Artists Pointe at Wilderness Lodge: I like the pot stickers quite a bit and love their berry cobbler dessert.>> Oh man, I love both of those. The last two visit to AP I had the pot stickers instead of the filet (or buffalo or pasta) that I usually get. Very good eatin! <<They also have a Tilimook Mac and Cheese that's a side dish on another dish that I like to get on the side. It's really yummy.>> Never tried that. Sounds interesting. <<Inside the parks... Brown Derby at DHS: Their tofu and noodle bowl is awesome (and really big). Maybe my favorite in-park dish.>> Just had it for the first time on my last visit. It is delicious and a bargain by Disney standards (which means after the people who read these boards for the company see this, it will likely go up $5!) <<Yak and Yeti at Animal Kingdom: Love the Wok-Fried Green Beans. Usually get the Lo Mein with veggies (not on the menu but they'll make it). Both the Jasmine and Brown rice are awesome. And the Fried Won Tons for dessert.>> Have to try them on my next visit. They sound great. <<And there you have my suggestions. If I sat longer, I could probably think of more. But that's a good start.>> Since those are the first things that came to mind (as well as the great couscous dishes at Marakesh) I'd say you put the best ones up. <<A finally (nothing against AllEars) - a plug for our own menu section. We're not quite done yet but we're pretty close...>> The problem with putting menus up is at WDW, they often change daily for the better locales and every few months for others ... and a few seem to stay pretty stable. But not many.

And I must be the only veggie that doesn't like Marrakesh. Doobie.

I haven't had since October and I think I'm suffering major withdrawal ;-) But yeah, it is widely available at Puck's Cafes across the USA. However, I don't know (and am too lazy to check) to see how many are still around. I know we had one in South Florida in Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise that closed about 4-5 years ago and soon after they closed the Puck Express that was in the food court. So while it's available away from WDW, I don't think it's widely available except in the SoCal market where Puck is everywhere!

I don't live in Japan but also HATE fish with a passion (the smell can make me ill) and really don't like rice that much either! What am I going to eat when I get to Japan later this year?

Brown Derby has an awesome tofu curry dish that everyone at my table ordered and enjoyed. For fast food we like Cosmic Ray's -- get a veggie burger and load up on toppings at the bar. Also the chilli at Columbia Harbour House, tho I, too, miss the bread bowls of yesteryear The Tangierine Cafe has a great veg platter (Morroco Pavillion) and also, the Cantina in Mexico will make anything sans meat for a big discount -- makes the place almost cheap! I'd recommend their wet burrito.
