Replacing some of the scenes like Alien, Tarzan, and Sorceror's Apprentice with some newer scenes might help to breathe new life into the attraction!

They need to go badly. I wonder if the James Cagney AA has been fixed.

Oops. A joke! Here I thought you were reprising an argument I have seen others make in the past here about things "going back to the way they were."

First of all, amen to that! Secondly, could they please, please, please demand that the (if you've never ridden, avert your eyes now!) gangster/cowboy be at least a marginally good actor?? The first time I rode this ride (in 1999) the gangster was fabulous! I simply adored him. Ever since...well...subpar. My "favorite" experience was when our "cowboy" had such a hard time putting on the old western accent with his severe speech impediment (or he was having such a hard time that it sounded like a severe speech impediment?) that we literally didn't understand a single word. Since I had ridden with the cowboy before, I had to translate to a friend who had never ridden the ride before.

For the record though, I still love the ride, just fix it up! (And say the joke about this being "a family ride" at footlight parade!)

When the mechanism became too troublesome, they just dropped a scrim and projected images on it. Very sad. The cast members there have been less than enthusiatic, as well. It makes a world of difference.

The non-AA's in there look way too fake, as well.

Well it didn't happen, and according to a couple of the drivers that runour has been going around for several years, and they still haven't starting learning the lines for the new spiel, so don't hold your breath. that show just never worked for me , even with the CM with a toy gun giving the thumbs up next to the truck with Little Red. I liked the poachers jeep, but it never works any more. I really think this show could use a change. Tomorrowland Transit Authority, my all time favorite ride, could use a good power washing at spots, but I don't think it is totally disgusting yet. The Haunted Mansion I just don't see being all that bad. Everything worked, and I could hear, and understand every line. I have a hearing problem, just ask my wife, and not once during the three rides on HM did I have a problem hearing. No different than 10 years ago. I was expecting much worse, actually I would have to give all the parks a good grade for appearance. Now I don't want anyone to accuse me of being a closet Pollyanna like TDLFAN. These are simply my opinions of what I experienced on my brief eight day stay. I have several issues with the resorts, and dining, which may be cause for a different thread. I really dislike being back in the real world.

I think that they need to do something with the old Superstar Television building. I LOVED that attraction, if only because I always got picked to participate in it (almost always in the "Gilligan's Island" scene...That was always funny, considering that they always chose kids for those parts). After several retoolings, it's now just a dull building. Let's get some action going on.

Oh, and "Sounds Dangerous" needs a massive re-tooling as well. Let's make it movie-oriented once again and get some perpetual talents involved in there, not somebody whose appeal will end up failing after a few years. On top of that, the after-show with the sound booths and interactive activities needs to be redone. A lot of the vocal effects booths don't work anymore. I tried the "Tron" one, and I wasn't able to modify my voice at all.

To put a button on it, I really think that they should return Sid Cahuenga's to the way it was. They once had a whole load of classic movie posters from almost every studio for sale (even Universal!). Now it's all Disney titles. Bring back all the other studio titles. They had an original poster for the punk rock movie "Times Square" one year. The next year I went there, all the posters from non-Disney studios were gone.

    That isn't good.

    Sincerely,

    John Kilduff
