And, unlike the plans for parks, you can expect most of these to actually happen. Also, heard some of the marketing plans for the 'New Fantasyland' debut ... suffice to say, they're laughable as are the talking points for why this is Disney's answer to WWoHP. You do know Disney's princesses are more timeless than the boy wizard, right?

But I can say for certain that the WDW Co. is basically interested in developing as much hotel and timeshare (and absurdly priced estate homes for Saudi princes and Wall Street banking execs) as possible with as little investment in the parks as possible. They will likely spend almost as much on marketing the NEW, NEW, NEW, NEW, NEW, NEW, NEW, NEW, NEW, NEW, NEW Fantasyland as they'll spend on building it. And that's without Michael Mendenhall too! I keep telling fanbois that WDW is a real estate development and hotel chain first and foremost and the theme parks are simply ancilary business units. You can build all the interactive queues in the world and all the elaborately-themed foamhead meet-greet-and-gropes too, but it takes REAL attractions to get people to return ... a friend suggested that Disney may not care whether their guests are of the 'one and done' variety. But I just don't buy that, especially with such an emphasis on selling timeshares. <<Also, heard some of the marketing plans for the 'New Fantasyland' debut ... suffice to say, they're laughable as are the talking points for why this is Disney's answer to WWoHP. I mean, market their products.

Too much speculation, not enough fact. I'm not writing anyone or anything off, but I'm getting to the point of thinking where I think everyone is concerned with this rumor, myself included, and operating off that. We shall see. There are tons of resort plans that DON'T get worked on, too. Hopefully, this is one of them.
