And, luckily, with my friends, nobody (that I saw) got completely blotto.

Funniest thing (for me)? I had a bottle of vodka that I brought that I had gotten for Matt then kept when we broke up. It's from the UK and it's 100,000 scoville units strong (a jalapeño is about 3,500) and has a skull & crossbones and massive warnings on the label, yet some friends of mine decided to try it anyway... and they did FULL SIZE shots... ounce and a half each... and refused my suggestion that they keep milk nearby, just in case...

the looks on their faces was PRICELESS! LOL

And, seriously, people, if I tell you something is hotter than hades and that only those who LOVE super SUPER spicy stuff should try it... LISTEN TO ME. I DO NOT WANT TO SEE YOU CRYING because you thought you were tougher than me.

(I did a thimbleful amount of it and boy HOWDY was it rough... luckily, my buddy Billy who was in town from Houston loved it and took the rest of hte bottle home with him.)

One of my cousins challenged himself to eat up the chili list as far as he could. (Apparently chilis are rated for heat factor). He got really high for a super-white guy.

and wow on the mild salsa... I like mine to have a kick. Not ghost pepper kick, mind you (there's a ghost pepper salsa that my ex liked; ICK!). Just a good little bang for your taste buds.

Oh, and how far up the chili poster did your cousin get? And did he eat whole chiles raw, or what?

My parents eat a Spanish rice they make that has them sweating and they love it.

I know he "had to" eat them raw for them to count. I will ask him how high he made it.
