    Of course, the "new" candidates will likely be just as bought and paid for as the old candidates thanks to Citizens United, but at least it might stop senators from being there for decades.

    If true (and I'm not so sure it is), then it will be no trouble to have them done away with.

    No survivors, no problem. :)

    I still think there is a due process issue that this law runs afoul of. Federal civil rights statutes trumps the application of the law used to shield Zimmerman from prosecution at the state level. It might not be a murder charge, but it's a start, and would set precedence to hopefully avoid cases like this in the future.
