xPPx, You *had* a potential Starbuck's gift card...

Kar2oonMan, it was great getting to meet you, the Baloo's, ajnhollysmommy and all the rest. I wish 5BR had been able to make it but at least I was able to meet him over the phone.

I would be up for another S.F. LP meet sometime : )

Be glad!! Tinkeroon used to feel them from hundreds and sometimes even thousands of miles away and it really freaked her out. She was ALWAYS right too.

It was really good to meet you. It's always nice to put a face to a name. goofy guy and JazzCat it was GREAT meeting you two! I felt a kindred spirit in the both of you! We had so much fun and I hope you guys can come back again. And if you do move someday, this part of sunny Calif. aint half bad! And it's a far cry closer to Disneyland than Washington! You'd have some built in friends too! The sally's and the shiva's think you guys are wonderful.
Dave and Sarah...it was a treat to spend part of your vacation with you. All 4 of you had to be just exhausted after that long flight but you were all troopers! The kids were really angels considering what they've been doing over the past couple of days. Gary just adored having Jess sleep in his arms! Thank you both for the tea and chocolates. The Turkish Cadbury is really quite good. I wasn't sure what to expect but I liked it. The tea is mild and delicious! I had a cup when I got home that same night! Thanks again. I hope we will get to spend more time with you all in about another week and a half. (Sarah...I'm really close to being done with my book and almost dreading it because it is so good). Hope the rain didn't put a damper on your Wednesday in SF. Hope you all had a chance to sleep in...if the little ones allowed it. HaHa Enjoyed listening to your exploits Dave (in DLParis and Florida). God willing, we'll get there one of these days!
Schmitty...glad you were able to make it, even if it was only for a while. And that cable car took FOREVER to board. We saw cops or security guards or something down there with them so who knows what was going on. There were about 7 cablecars all lined up back to back going nowhere. Hope you had a good time with your daughter.
Wish a lot more of you could have made the trip. It was fun!!

Thanks you for such a wonderful day. We really hope we didn't disappoint. We were overwelmed with everyone's kindness and generosity. Please put it down to the jetlag if we did not show our gratitude properly.

We had an absolute blast with You guys are the greatest. Getting to speak with 5BR and Paradise Princess on the phone was cool. Meeting Toony and Schmitty after all these years was great, I wish we had more time to speak. BTW, the kids have worn their A's hats everywhere! Thank you once again!

Ajandhollysmom, we were so pleased you and your posse could join us. We were so touched. Your kids are so adorable and Andrew was such a polite young man. I thought your Dad was a real hoot - I really like him! I enjoyed it when he and I flirted with the ladies on the cablecars - lol. Thank you for everything Sis!

Goofy Guy and Jazz Cat, I am so touched you made such a journey to meet. It was lovely to findly make your acquaintance.

And on to the clones! What can I say about you 4 other than we cannot wait to see you guys again! We had such a blast. Shiva, loved singing big butts on the cable car lol. My twin GAry - big hugs. I have a wonderful picture of you and your lovely tinkeroon kissing! Ruthie - you are a hoot and Rod is such a great conversationalist. We will imbibe our wine drink at some stage, I cannot wait to try it.

Thank you to everyone for such a wonderfully memorable day. We will never forget it. And by the way Shiva, you are honored as Jess doesn't go to many people. You guys were so cute together.

Yesterday was indeed rainy, it reminded us of home but warmer - lol!. We went to te Top of the Mark for breakfast, fantastic views and really good food too. After our sublime experience there, we hopped the Cable Car down to the embarcadero. We went to the market at the ferry building. Coming from Europe we were a little disappointed as almost all the food offerings were very European - so great for americans, not as great for us as we wanted US culinary treats to buy.

We then hopped the F line trolley to Pier 39 and enjoyed the sea lions ( the kids have only seen them in our local zoo), bought some Salt Water taffee (went a little crazy in the candy store), enjoyed buying tacky tourist souvenirs on sale (after all we are tacky tourists), watched them mke bread and enjoyed some clam chowder in breadbowls and sour dough pizza, went and bought some provisons and took the cable cars back to the hotel for an earlier night. A bit of a mistake since the kids got us up at 4:30 tis morning (we slept to 6 yesterday!).

Today is our last full day in the city!

Not a chance my friend, if anything you guys even nicer and more fun to be with in person than you are on-line...and that's already hard to beat.

    >>And by the way Shiva, you are honored as Jess doesn't go to many people.<<

Dave, I felt honored, both of your little ones are so precious but holding Jess in my arms while she was sleeping was an incredible gift. I'm still very touched by the memory. She might have felt comfortable with me because of a certain physical resemblance that you and I share. I'm not going to try to figure it out, I'll just hold on to the memory. Like JazzCat said, it was one of the best days of my life.

The clones and we are really looking forward to seeing you again in just 10 days. BIG HUGs to you, Sarah and the kids. We may not have known you long but you are greatly loved.

That bottle came from a Dollar Store. You may want to read the Dollar Store tread in Community before "imbibing."

It was a great day but when we got back to The Disney Store we found out that 'Bekah is on vacation. (Still got my lamps though.)

I'm glad I peeked in though. Sounds like you guys had a fantastic time (best days of people's lives? Wow! That's great!). I'm so happy more LPers got to meet each other. I just think that is so neat. LP - connecting Disney fans across the world!

I'm so glad you went to Top of the Mark and did the cable cars and had fun as a "tacky tourist".

I hope the rest of your trip is just as wonderful and fun, baloos!

I'll be checking the boards for more updates on your traveling adventures! :)

Sarah enjoyed Macys, nordstroms, gap et al, and the kids loved the curving escalators. Mexican for lunch in between.

After another cable car ride (ride no 10), we rested in the room for a bit, then had brandy ho's hunan chinese for dinner. Man it was good and really spicy. Too much for Sarah and the kids.Sarah and I enjoyed a flight of international award winning martinis at our hotel - tres James bond.

Then it was off to the Tonga room across the street. Or so I thought. Sadly it is closed for renevations until March 20th. :-(

    So an early night.

    off too monterey today!
