Sorry I had to leave you as soon as I did, but it was more than worth it to see my daughter after much time. She lives at the top of an apartment that is right below Coit Tower. One flight of stairs leads to the roof and they've decked it out with lounge and patio chairs, tables and a BBQ. It looks like something out of a movie, and the views from there are incredible!

At the aquarium Andrew was beyond giddy when he was able to touch a shark. 4. Holly found Nemo! 5. The look on my friends face when I ordered the volcano at the Rainforest Cafe 6. Visiting with my extended LP family.

This meet really started for us when a goofy guy and JazzCat showed up at our house on Saturday evening. I had met them but Mrsally had not. It did not take long to tell that we would all be friends. We came back to our house and fit in a game of Guillotine before meeting Shiva and Tinkeroon for dinner. Back home to finish our game and get our house guests to bed before they fell asleep standing up as the big day was still to come. We were up before 6:30AM and off to pick up the other two quarters (two sixths??!!!??) Even though our back seat is a bit cramped for adults; I am glad we all drove to the City together. We had virtually no traffic and the constant chatter made the trip just whiz by. I think it a stroke of good fortune that after we reached the fountain at Ghirradelli I decided to go back to the car for the token I had brought for the Baloos. When I came around my car I saw a man, woman and two children who looked a bit lost and was pretty sure who they were. (The LP buttons helped.) Putting faces to names is always fun. It was decided to hop a cable car and I was very excited as I had not done this for many years. I mean, these great folks visit from the UK and are on their way to Disneyland and we go to the Disney Store. But there was a great sale going on and I think just about everyone bought something. I chose to sit with someone other than that guy with whom I take almost every meal. Here I have to say, I almost changed my mind cuz all the young children were sitting at that table. I have raised my kids and sometimes do not like to be around noisy brats. WELL, let me say, there were NO noisy brats with us. These LP parents have reared some wonderful, well behaved children. And the Baloo babies had jet lag. It is one of my favorite places and I had not been to it since it moved to the Wharf.
