The attractions are set up depending on their capacity as to how many they will give out. I think it should be eliminated however. It diminishes the capacity of the park overall, because the people who should be in line waiting the way the lines are designed are flooded out in the park instead. The problem is your average guests doesn't understand how the system is designed and therefore the people who are waiting in line and didn't take the time to figure it out find it unfair that people are 'cutting' in line in front of them, even though those people did in fact wait their turn. I for one have never cut in line at DL and don't intend to. I even feel bad catching up to my party if they happen to be further up in line and I went to the restroom or to get water or something.
