All 3-, 4- or 7-night cruises through 4/24/08 are available for booking, but not Land/Sea packages at this time. If you are interested in booking a suite, or a cruise during a popular time period (i.e., Easter break), be aware that these usually sell out very early. You also need to book secret porthole staterooms as early as possible! Categories 1-3 (suites) for sailings in 2008 require a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit, but the deposit can be transferred to a different date if your plans change. For Categories 4-12, the deposit is fully refundable until full payment is due. To book a 2008 cruise, contact a travel agent who specializes in Disney vacations. In addition to the 12 Mexican Riviera cruises, Disney Cruise Line will offer two 15-night repositioning cruises through the Panama Canal. The Disney Magic will depart Port Canaveral and head west on May 10, 2008, with the return cruise to Florida scheduled for August 17, 2008. Bookings open on January 31, 2007. Disney was taking waiting list requests for Summer 2008 sailings on the Magic but apparently the list was too long so this was discontinued in December 2006. Small World Vacations is now creating its own waiting list, which they will use to book their clients on the first day the Summer 2008 special itinerary cruises are released for sale. Booking on the first day is the best way to lock in the lowest fares! If you are seriously interested in booking a Summer 2008 cruise, I recommend submitting a quotation form at the Small World Vacations web site and noting "waitlist" in the comments section.
