It is up to them to show it if they want to claim it's untrue. If you were honest you'd admit that.

In 1982, Ronald Reagan showed up an my house one evening. He barged right in, danced the funky chicken in my living room, then ran back out, laughing wildly, and dove into his limo and was driven off. The Secret Service agent told me to keep it quiet as long as Reagan was alive or terrible things would happen to me. I am now free to tell the story.

Now, Douglas, prove it ain't so.

An honest man doesn't make claims he can't back up with facts. You did that. You are dishonest.

As an idealogue, you stated something as fact. When called on it, (it was originally a polite request for some evidence) you started your usual two-step, flim-flam routine. Then you jump in on this thread as if you have a thing to say about honesty.

You don't get to just make up stuff and then it's up to the rest of the world to prove it isn't so. That isn't how it works.

Wow. Really? You're sticking with that? Really?

Let's say that I suddenly became a truther. And I said that "cheney admitted that 9/11 was an inside job. He said so himself."

Anyone here would have the right to say "Prove that, please. Provide the quote."

if I then fell back on "Prove Cheney didn't say it," every person here would be justified in a) never taking me seriously again, if I stuck to that, and b) laughing me off the street.

Like we're doing to you now.

Be careful the hate that these liberals will direct at you will be like nothing you can believe from people who say they love Disneyland. It's like there Muslims and you just made fun of Allah, its scary.

insisting that someone back up his assertions does not constitute "hate."

Well, they may be justified, but they won't do that. Because you have claimed that I have said things I didn't, refused to back down, and been defended by your fellow liberals.

So don't try to pretend you have the moral high ground. It's not true.

I'm well aware of their tendancies. I've been posting here for quite some time.

"Well, they may be justified, but they won't do that."

If I came out with that truther crap, yes they would, and they'd be right.

"Because you have claimed that I have said things I didn't, refused to back down, and been defended

you can say that as much as you like, and it's a lie every time. You did say this Specter thing, and you even admitted it, just splitting hairs between religion and religious views. And then fell back on the lame beyond belief "prove he didn't do it.". And you've been taken to task here by fellow conservatives here too, some even saying you give them a bad name, so don't try to pretend it's just a lib/con thing.

"So don't try to pretend you have the moral high
    ground. It's not true."

I didn't claim moral high ground. The claims I have made are true, though.

This is beyond ridiculous. What's next, you'll stamp your feet on the ground and hold your breath until you turn blue? You lie.

    1) Here, Douglas claims something is "not true" that he cannot prove is not true.

    <a href="http://mb.laughingplace.com/MsgBoard-T-95986-P-8.asp" target="_blank">http://mb.laughingplace.com/Ms...-P-8.asp</a>

    2) Here, Douglas claims something else is "not true" that he cannot prove is not true.

    <a href="http://mb.laughingplace.com/MsgBoard-T-75736-P-6.asp" target="_blank">http://mb.laughingplace.com/Ms...-P-6.asp</a>

    3) Yet again, Douglas claims something is "not true" that he cannot prove.

    <a href="http://mb.laughingplace.com/MsgBoard-T-84471-P-6.asp" target="_blank">http://mb.laughingplace.com/Ms...-P-6.asp</a>

    4) Can you guess what happens? Douglas specific claims something is "not true" but can't prove it.

    <a href="http://mb.laughingplace.com/MsgBoard-T-85689-P-15.asp" target="_blank">http://mb.laughingplace.com/Ms...P-15.asp</a>

    5) Well this is getting silly.

    <a href="http://mb.laughingplace.com/MsgBoard-T-103460-P-4.asp" target="_blank">http://mb.laughingplace.com/Ms...-P-4.asp</a>

By Douglas' own standards, he is a dishonest man.
