Worse than that. He claims that his opinion is based on "stuff he read", though even through the wonder of google and the internets he can't come up with a shred of evidence to support it (doesn't matter, right?).

Maybe you should try combing through some Amazon.com book reviews or something. If you read it, you certainly must be able to come up with WHERE you read it...which book or publication claimed this thing you claimed seemingly out of thin air.

Well, this is instructive. Because what SG said in #5 is the opposite of McCarthyism.

McCarthyism was, essentially, "guilt by association." Read #5 again:

Having been to the Middle East on several occasions, I've never met the sort of Muslim that you describe in your bigoted posts. "

Here SG, is saying that all Muslims should not be defamed by the actions of terrorist Muslims. It's insisting that there should not be guilt by association.

DD is so blinded by ideology that he has things exactly backwards. Again.
