Best fried chicken in parks?

    Back on topic; I've had the Plaza chicken meal several times, it's a great meal for a good price. I also enjoy eating on something besides plastic or paper while at the park.

    I am one who thinks that the trip to Knott's for the chicken dinner is always worth it. When we get there friday, several of us in our party are flying in from different cities (Boise, Spokane, Seattle) and our meeting place is the Chicken Dinner restaurant. It's one of those things that is "Must Do" if we're going to go all the way down to southern California

    I must have been at the Plaza Inn on a good day, because it was the best I'd ever had, even better than Knott's. I made a special pilgrimmage over to Knott's one year, and I thought it was a little too institutionalized to be worth all the fuss.

    We made a special trip to Knott's for hubby to try their chicken (and because our friends think it's the best on earth). It was no better than I remember from years ago, and hubby was not impressed. He insisted we all go to Plaza a couple of days later.
