It may not be tropical by you, but in January have you ever seen -28F ? Have you ever gone a week when the temp never gets above zero ?

And I am complaining and Road Trip has it even worse than me....up in Minny

    When are the courses opening?
We got it 42, 44, 46, and 50 by weekend but the cape stays at 50 till Memorial Day as there is basically NO spring. Just 50 and suddenly 70's:(

as for the courses opening, no one set time -- most private courses set their own schedule on when the groundskeepers feel they will not suffer any damage - the public courses - mostly mid April - weather willing

it sucks...when will the good weather hit Colorado?

To answer your qeustion about what I shot that day, I played poorly on the front, and decent on the back, and walked away with a 91. Not bad, really, considering it's a course I had never played...at sea level...that's a 2 club difference to you and me!

We have it 32 at noon on cape and I told the wife "go home first" as I can't take another low 30's playing day like yesterday.
VB55--Our celebrity (hint his birthday is in the news under celebrity birthdays- he's 58 today) has owned a place on Jupiter Island for many years. He's there 6 months and here at the Ridge 6 months. Tiger, as you probably know just bought that 38 million dollars estate there. How the heck can you afford it? It's supposed to be the most expensive real estate in the country. Just off island in Jupiter is not TOO bad I heard.
Laguna sounds nice but how about putting Jupiter in the rotation instead?:) Gaston --are you in for the rotation mentioned in post 93? We'll have to add Colorado!

Change in plans as my wife HAS to stay here for her type stuff so I'm out of here in 10 and it's only 33 degrees! Should I play? You and dv55 are turning me a golf addict here:)
