We love both hotels for different reasons. Howard Johnson has bigger rooms & the Entertainment rate cannot be beat I think it is $59 and also Mimis restaurant next door is cheap & great food. The Candy Cane has a free cont. breakfast which is really good & the shuttle to Disneyland is great we never walked but always took the shuttle. Those are the only 2 hotels we will stay at in the future just because we have always had good experiences with them both.

I loved having the little kitchen type area and the extra mirror and sink for getting ready in the morning. It was for DH, me, 4 kids. We did come back to our room on one occasion to take the kids swimming and our room wasn't cleaned yet. It was about 1-2. We just told her that we would just need clean towels that day. Then one day she was in our room cleaning when my husband went back to get our camcorder and camera. He felt ackward going in while she was cleaning so he just waited for her to finish. They were really nice to give us clean towels when we asked on the day we told her to not worry about cleaning our room since we were going to be in it. We really didn't have any problems with this hotel. I would stay there again. We actually are staying at Hojo's this November because we love to have a hot tub to relax in. Park Vue only has a pool. The walk to the park from Park Vue is so worth it to me. Hope that helps!
