The one not mentioned yet - which I think is the best bang for the buck of any eatery in either park - is the Trattoria. Actually good food for not much more than a buffeteria. Plus you can get wine with your meal if you like, and the ambiance is very nice as well.

A bowl of pasta with what tasted like canned tomato sauce on top for $17 - didn't even include a salad (actually I think all their stuff is a la carte). The setting is great and I might go back for appetizers/wine, but I don't think I'll have a meal there again :(

My sausage ragu had, basically, no sausage in it. It was one of those meals that you contemplate sending back, but we were really tired and just decided that we needed a hot meal - whatever it was....(and having a nice glass of wine helped too).

Pizza there is like white bread with a lot of cheese. If you like that then bless you, but I’m from NYC, and don’t.

    >>best burgers?
    Taste Pilots Grill – DCA<<

Is it really meat, like eating a dry piece of cardboard?

    best sandwiches?
White Water Snacks - Grand Californian grounds

Used to be a lot better, but they changed the buns to a cheaper bread (chicken sandwiches)and now has lost something.

    Pizza:
Naples pizza is not great but very good, and by far the best in the resort.

    Burgers:
ESPN has to rate as best burger.

I know there not in the parks but, but why not eat something good, and is so close.

p.s. I don't mind the word "yummy" at all - whether used by a man or woman.

Yeah, I can't eat theme park (any theme park) pizza, either. I don't just live in NYC, I live in Brooklyn. In a nabe that's about 50% Italian. We have seriously good pizza literally every couple of blocks on the main avenues. Naples is okay, but I just won't do pizza in the parks any more.

I really disagree. I dont understand why people order a monte cristo sandwhich when the BB ofers great tasting steaks?<<<

Actually, I haven't had a Monte Cristo at BB in close to 20 years. Although I haven't had the steak specifically I have had other things there and I didn't find the quality to match up with the price charged. With BB you are paying for the ambiance, I stand by that.
I do recommend eating there at least once, because it is a special setting. But make sure you ask for a water side table and make it clear you are willing to wait for it. Sitting next to the kitchen wrecks the experience and costs the same.

Also tried the new menu at the Village Haus and I have to say they have vastly improved! The pastrami burger with horseradish sauce was yummy and so was the flatbread BLT pizza. The burger was definitely better than the ones at Taste Pilots.

Well, for me personally, when I'm on vacation, it's a time to eat special things. I can have a steak anywhere really, but I only get to enjoy a Monte Cristo about once a year. Granted, I'm not much of a steak person to begin with...but a deep-fried sandwich with jam? Yes please. I'm salivating just thinking about it

The Blue Bayou lets me substitute the steak in the surf and turf for a second lobster tail so I always get that and the gumbo for a starter there. I get my monte cristos at Cafe Orleans (they are the same). I also get them with the pommes frites and gumbo.
