Everest's is very detailed, though the bells can be annoying, I seem to remember. (Haven't been on the ride in several years.) I don't particularly like switchback queues like Big Thunder because I tend to keep passing couples who are engaged in gross PDA (like the time I watched a 40-something man at Uni's Simpsons ride being groped by a girl who wasn't even half his age). I think I like the Indiana Jones queue at DL more than any of WDW's.

Of course the queue is one of the best ever. And then you have a nice scenic trip around the base of the mountain, an incredible temple scene halfway up the lift, and then it's high speed all the way down with no need for detailed theming that you'd never see at high speed anyway.

You have the two show "scenes" -- the dramatic bird-on-a-stick and the the shadow puppet -- just not a lot to look at on the ride. Doesn't really reward multiple rides.
Originally Posted By FerretAfros Can we count the Voices of Liberty as part of the American Adventure queue? If so, there is no other queue that can pass it, IMO. If we're just talking about the facility itself, it's still pretty high on the list (that room is more grand than most entire attractions, plus there's the little gallery to the side and the Hall of Flags in the back), but not necessarily a don't-miss experience (you'd have to add the attraction in for that). I'm also a big fan of the Tower of Terror approach and queue. It was a highlight of the experience on my first ride, and now that I'm accustomed to the DCA version, it's even better. The Nemo queue has some pretty cool effects too, but it's a little cartoony for my liking. I'm a little bummed that none of those effects (nor most of the ones from the attraction itself) made it into the Little Mermaid ride in DCA. The Temple of Heaven in China is a pretty neat place to wait for the film. I got to see the acrobats in there on my last visit (since it was pouring), which is always a bonus. The Midway Mania queue is pretty neat, but I could see how the novelty could wear off really quickly if you had a long wait. Although it's fairly simple, I think that the It's Tough to Be a Bug queue is better than the attraction itself. That's kind of a compliment to the queue and slam on the attraction at the same time. It gives you a really cool perspective on the tree, and also does a good job setting the scene for the show. The MuppetVision preshow is also a nice bonus. I'm always a little disappointed when I wander in shortly before the main show starts. I would definitely agree that in most cases, the WDW queues are way better than DL's. I guess it's likely due to the indoor needs in Florida (to avoid the rain and heat/humidity), but they're among my favorite things to compare while I'm there.

The Muppet Vision preshow is one of my top 5 favorite things in WDW. No, I'm not lying.
